Excavating started this week and the dirt is really flying. I know many of you have been driving by and watching the changes take place but if you don’t get into town very often keep an eye on our website and I will continue to give you updates.

Timber they all fall down! Logging was once a major industry in Lakeview but I don’t think it was done quite like this. Chainsaws and cranes cut and feed giant logs into the shredder.

This photo shows how the library will sit on the 5 lots that we own. Points to note are the ample parking space (a BIG change for us!); the handicapped parking area in front of the building; and the drive-up book and AV deposit box.
