Pouring curbs for parking lot

At the same time that the precast planks were being set, another crew of workers was pouring concrete for curbs in the parking lot. No longer will people have to drive around the block in downtown Lakeview waiting for a parking place to open up!

Although it may have seemed that not much was happening in the last few weeks, a lot of details were being completed in the basement hole – including block walls for the mechanical room and elevator. Now we’re ready for the main level flooring.

The things they can do just amaze me. I remember walls being laid with concrete block not poured concrete. Now they do wire walls and then pour them in upright slabs.
